The awarding ceremony of the international contest of ideas “The young are for the civilized business”

On December 21, 2016, the awarding ceremony of the international contest of ideas “The young are for the civilized business” took place at the House of Journalists. The competition was held in Russia from August 15 to November 10, 2016.

 

 The contest was organized by “Anti-counterfeiting”, the International Association of Organizations Fighting with Illegal Trade of Counterfeit Goods, to attract attention of the young people to the urgent problem of fighting counterfeiting and falsification, to create new ideas, develop ways, methods, technologies aimed at eradication of counterfeiting and falsification. The competition was held under the patronage of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

 

The ceremony was attended by:

Igor Sergeev, Dean of the Faculty of Customs, Ph.D. in Economics;

Elena Krasilnikova, Head of the Chair of Commodity Research and Customs Expertise, Ph.D. in Engineering, Associate Professor;

Lyudmila Kuchinskaya, Associate Professor at the Chair of Commodity Research and Customs Expertise, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor;

Students of the Academy.

The competition was divided into three nominations:  

The best idea;

The most implementable project

The most technological project

 

Each nomination had predefined topics:

Warn!

Quality is our choice!

Intellectual property is our future!

Technological effectiveness is a key to success!

 

The results of the competition were summed by the commission, formed from the representatives of ministries, departments, public organizations, business community, educational and scientific institutions.

 

Alexandra Dyageleva and Alexandra Samokar, students from the Faculty of Customs, became winners in the nomination “Technological effectiveness is a key to success!”

Their research work “Development of the customs measures of the EAEU market protection from counterfeit goods import” on the example of iPhone 4S described the differences between the original product and the falsification, reviewed the issues of identifying this merchandise and suggested the complex solutions.

 

Yuliya Pavlova, the 3rd year student from the Faculty of Economics was awarded with the diploma of the second place in the nomination “The most implementable project” for her work on the theme “The concept of the internet system identifying the counterfeit products on the example of the mobile application “Poddelkin””.

 

The diplomas and money prizes were presented by Aslambek Aslahanov, the President of the International Association.

 In his response speech Igor Sergeev, Dean of the Faculty of Customs, noted the significance of establishing cooperation between the Faculty and the Association, he pointed that close contacts will make conditions for developing new ideas, approaches, methods, technologies aimed at fighting counterfeiting and creating economic atmosphere unprofitable for producing and trading counterfeit products.

 In his response speech Igor Sergeev, Dean of the Faculty of Customs, noted the significance of establishing cooperation between the Faculty and the Association, he pointed that close contacts will make conditions for developing new ideas, approaches, methods, technologies aimed at fighting counterfeiting and creating economic atmosphere unprofitable for producing and trading counterfeit products.
The winner in the nomination “The most implementable project” became the postgraduate student of the Academy Anton Tugushev, who suggested a design of the automatic information system for customs service.
His awarding took place at the IV international forum “”Anti-counterfeit 2016” in Erevan, Armenia. He received a medal “Loyalty and Honor” of the 3rd degree from Aslambek Aslahenov, police major general, counsilor to the President of the Russian Federation.
